Construction Employers Federation Setting Direction Programme
The purpose of the CEF Setting Direction Programme was to help Managers in the construction sector gain the Leadership and Management skills to create a successful path through the current tough economic climate.
The programme comprised six core half-day facilitated workshops which required participants to take a step back from the day to day running of their organisations, seek to identify future opportunities and to prepare their businesses to make cultural changes and ‘mind set shifts’ in order to exploit these opportunities.
Participants were fulsome in their praise of the programme with benefits including; new JVs formed, new supplier relationships developed, changes in business direction, organisation restructure, more selective bidding, improved direction setting and a better balance of strategic and operational. The final event was held on Friday 17th June and participants received their Programme Completion Certificates. Parity were delighted to have Mervyn McCall, co-founder of Mivan as Guest Speaker.
Parity is currently working with CEF/CITB on launching another intake of this programme.
